Project
The Grammarly Editor is a browser-based text editor that provides writing corrections and enhancements in real time.

As Grammarly’s first (and only, at the time) content designer, I had a uniquely detailed understanding of every Grammarly interface. Redesigning the Grammarly Editor was a huge undertaking, but necessary in order to support new product functionality. Given the nature of Grammarly’s product, UX content requires not only content design skills but also true expertise in in the art of writing and editing.
Key elements of this project included:
• Demo document (doubling as a proto-onboarding experience)
• 400+ detailed and dynamic suggestion cards
• Menus and settings
Project
Grammarly Business launched a new feature for enterprise accounts that would allow administrators to set up custom writing suggestions for their teams. However, admins who were part of the pilot program were slow to adopt the feature.

After investigating, I learned that admins weren't sure how to get started with the feature or what kind of rules to set up. I created a set-up manual for our customer success team to share with admins, which both increased adoption of the feature and elicited more specific and actional feedback from customers on how to improve the feature.
Project
To align with industry best practices and foster trust, Grammarly introduced a mechanism allowing users to explicitly link social accounts to their Grammarly account in a secure way.
Services
Content design, copywriting, messaging
Details
Because social sign-in had existed in the product for several years, we needed to account for existing infrastructure and behavior. After several iterations, we created a flow with minimal friction that also conveys the user benefit of account linking.
Project
The Grammarly mobile app introduced a new privacy-enhancing functionality that allows users to stop Grammarly from initializing or checking text in certain apps.
Services
Content design, messaging, copywriting
Details
Grammarly users are highly sensitive (and reasonably so) to privacy concerns. The messaging that appears in the UX to support this feature needed to be very brief while maintaining enough detail and clarity to adequately address concerns.
Project
After several years of incremental updates and additions, Grammarly's user account dashboard experience was disorganized and fragmented. The goal of this project was to overhaul the dashboard and introduce a consistent, intuitive experience that also incentivized usage of key features and settings to drive business goals.

This was a large project involving several teams, so thorough documentation was key to capturing decisions and defining processes for future iterations.
